Since 1933 

We would like to invite you to participate in the SP DX Contest first full weekend of April (April 4, 2026 from 15:00 UTC Saturday until April 5, 14:59 UTC Sunday).  This is the biggest operating event of the year in Poland with typically over 1000 SP stations on the air on both CW and SSB.  For some, it is a competitive event, for others it is a chance to make a QSO with old friends.  And for others yet, it is their only contest experience of the year and an opportunity to be seen and heard and to have fun.

The success of this contest depends on the participation of DX stations like you, whether you are a veteran contester or just enjoy making casual contacts and giving SP stations an opportunity to work DX.  It does not matter how much time you can spend and how many QSO’s you can make, we would like to see you in our logs!

Please visit  https://spdxcontest.pzk.org.pl  where you can see the current rules and upload your log after the contest.  Please note that logs can no longer be submitted via email.  We request that the logs be uploaded by April 12, 2026, 23:59 UTC.  All entries will be immediately posted on that web page, followed by email confirmations.  

The final results will be processed and made available by May 4. We have adopted an open log policy, so all logs will be in public view.  Note the log analysis functionality that provides some useful information. Just click on your (or any other) call sign in the scores tab. You may test this in 2024, 2025 and other contest archives.

Along with the results, certificates of participation and top scoring certificates by category, country and continent will be available for download.  We also have a long list of plaques which have been sponsored by individuals and groups which you can see on the web page.  Finally, you can qualify for various levels of the POLSKA Award for working the 16 provinces (województwa) of Poland.

Koleżanki i Koledzy, Krótkofalowcy!

W nadchodzący weekend (4-5 kwietnia 2026, 15:00 UTC - 14:59 UTC) startujemy z kolejną edycją największego, dorocznego wydarzenia w polskim krótkofalarstwie – SP DX Contestu.

To zawody, w których każdy polski krótkofalowiec powinien wziąć udział! SP DX Contest jest imprezą międzynarodową, przyjazną formą współzawodnictwa dla stacji SP, przy udziale krótkofalowców z całego świata.

SP DX Contest dla jednych jest wyczynem, dla wielu innych towarzyskim spotkaniem na falach eteru - raz do roku! Nie chodzi w nim tylko o to, żeby za wszelką cenę zwyciężyć, ale również, aby dobrze się bawić. Spodziewamy się jak zwykle silnej reprezentacji zagranicznej. Nasz SP DX Contest cieszy się wśród krótkofalowców z całego świata renomą, jest lubiany i ceniony.

Ta renoma wzrośnie, jeżeli wystartujemy licznie, liczba stacji ze świata jest proporcjonalna do liczby słyszanych stacji polskich. Nieważne więc, czy jeszcze nigdy nie startowałeś, czy jesteś weteranem imprezy.

W tej edycji najważniejszego święta polskich krótkofalowców po prostu nie może Cię zabraknąć!

Weź udział w SP DX Contest, dobrze się bawiąc i podnosząc rangę polskiego krótkofalarstwa na świecie! Zawody te po raz pierwszy zorganizowane zostały w 1933 roku.

Stacje polskie nadają jednoliterowy skrót województwa. Np. 59D na SSB, 599R na CW.

Członkowie PZK którzy wezmą udział w zawodach biorą również udział we współzawodnictwie oddziałowym, które organizowane jest przez PZK. Regulamin na stronie.

SP DX Contest 2022 canceled

After careful deliberation, the SP DX Contest Committee, together with Polish Amateur Radio Union (PZK) and the SP DX Club, has decided to cancel the 2022 SP DX Contest.

Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Poland has accepted nearly 2 million refugees to date, as a direct result of Russian aggression toward our neighbor.  This is an unprecedented event in Europe and has resulted in the greatest migration crisis in Europe since World War II.  Polish people are deeply engaged in all forms of humanitarian assistance.  Polish radio amateurs are giving shelter to Ukrainian refugees in their homes and offering their help and services in every way possible.  Under these extraordinary circumstances, we felt it was most appropriate to cancel the SP DX Contest this year.

Po wnikliwej analizie Komisja SP DX Contest, wspólnie z Polskim Związkiem Krótkofalowców (PZK) i SP DX Clubem, podjęła decyzję o odwołaniu SP DX Contest 2022.

Od początku wojny na Ukrainie Polska przyjęła do tej pory prawie 2 miliony uchodźców, co jest bezpośrednim skutkiem agresji Rosji na naszego sąsiada. Jest to wydarzenie bez precedensu w Europie i spowodowało największy kryzys migracyjny w Europie od czasów II wojny światowej. Polacy są głęboko zaangażowani we wszelkie formy pomocy humanitarnej. Polscy krótkofalowcy udzielają schronienia ukraińskim uchodźcom w swoich domach, oferują swoją pomoc i usługi w każdy możliwy sposób. W tych nadzwyczajnych okolicznościach uznaliśmy, że należy odwołać tegoroczne zawody SP DX Contest.
